Owner-operated

Windows are the whole job,
not a sideline.

Velazquez Windows is run by Juan C. Velazquez. We replace windows and patio doors for homeowners who want the work done carefully and explained in plain language.

Who you are hiring

A small crew, a short list of services.

Plenty of companies will fit a window between other trades. We do not. Windows and patio doors are the only thing on our van, which is why the measuring, the flashing and the trim work go quickly and come out square.

Most jobs start the same way: a phone call, a free in-home measure, then a written price per opening. If a window is fine and only needs new hardware or a seal, we will tell you that too — we would rather do three windows honestly than eight you did not need.

How we work

Four things we hold to.

We explain before we sell

You get told what the opening actually needs — even when that turns out to be less work than you expected.

Measured, not guessed

Every opening is measured on site. Frames get checked for rot and square before anything is ordered.

The same face throughout

Juan C. Velazquez quotes the work, runs the install and answers the phone afterwards.

Left cleaner than we found it

Drop cloths down, vacuum out, old glass and packaging gone the same day.

What we install

Frames and glass chosen for the opening.

Double-hung, casement, slider, picture, bay and bow, basement egress, sliding patio doors and French doors — in vinyl or fiberglass, with insulated Low-E glass as standard.

  • Double-pane insulated glass with Low-E coating and argon fill
  • Tempered or obscure glass where bathrooms and stairwells need it
  • Grid patterns and frame colours matched to the rest of the house
  • Full-frame replacement when the existing frame is past saving
